Los diez mejores compositores según Rolling Stone

La revista Rolling Stone ha decidido hacer su lista definitiva de los 10 mejores compositores de la historia. Personalmente esta lista me parece un auténtico disparate. ¡Bob Dylan por encima de Lennon y McCartney! Julián Ruiz, uno de los críticos musicales españoles de más importancia, ha mencionado en su blog Plásticos y Decibelios que ''el error, el horror y el escarnio de la lista ponen a Rolling Stone, en el momento en que se encuentra, al borde de la desaparición''. La polémica está servida. Esta es la lista:

Crítica de ''The King of Limbs''

Perdonad mi tardanza en volver a escribir otra entrada en este blog, espero que aceptéis mis disculpas. Pero bueno, vayamos al grano. Hace ya casi un mes, la banda británica Radiohead publicó su octavo álbum de estudio, titulado ''The King of Limbs'', el cual está dedicado a un árbol milenario cercano a su estudio de grabación. Aquí está mi opinión sobre dicho disco:
Mejor tema: ''Separator'' (grandísimo tema para finalizar el álbum, seguro que está entre las mejores canciones del año).
Single: ''Lotus Flower'' (canción que me recuerda a algunas canciones suyas anteriores, tales como ''There There'' o ''Idioteque'').
Valoración final: 9,5

Crítica de ''Different Gear, Still Speeding''

Como muchos ya sabréis, este lunes se lanzó a la venta la ópera prima de Beady Eye, ''Different Gear, Still Speeding''. Esta es mi valoración general sobre el álbum:
Mejor tema: ''The Morning Son'' (gran canción épica para finalizar el disco, muy a lo ''Champagne Supernova'').
Mejor letra: ''Kill For A Dream''
Single: ''The Roller''
Canción pegadiza: ''Bring The Light'' (no la podrás parar de tararear).
Mejor solo de guitarra: ''Four Letter Word'' (lástima que dure poco más de 10 segundos).
Valoración final: 8
